My question is why can't I use ballistic plates for workouts? Ceramic would obviously be out of the question, but why not steel? I'm in the Marines, so I'm used to 25+ pound plate carriers and the idea of using a non-ballistic plate during a workout just to switch it out for a ballistic plate seems silly to me.
