Soldering stainless steel mesh help please
I use the acid-type stainless steel flux from Mcmaster-Carr and a large soldering iron. I use ordinary Oatey lead-free solder. It works beautifully, lots of control over the flow. My long seam is about 18", mesh to mesh, and I get a nice tight seam. The mesh cylinder is butt jointed to the end plates and I get a great beveled joint like a weld.
