I'm just wondering what everyone uses as a quenching oil for O1 tool steel. I also want to know if MAPP gas/Oxygen would be hot enough to harden the blade, or if I should just use oxy acetylene. I've seen people online saying that canola oil is fine, but everyone says you need to preheat the oil, how do you even preheat the oil?
